Another person to take measurements (more accurate)

Shoe sizes are incremented by 0.5 cm, so all measurements should be taken in millimeters and with socks on. Body weight should be evenly distributed on both legs, feet shoulder width apart and fingers lined up. If you move your weight on one leg, foot size might increase by up to 1 cm, so measurements should only be taken by another person.

As described in "Tips for accuracy" stand up straight, feet shoulder width apart with one foot across the sheet. Draw a line around the foot holding the pencil/pen perpendicular to the sheet of paper. (If pencil/pen is tilted, measurement will be incorrect).
Draw a line behind a heel.

Step 3
First measure of the foot is joint. You should take measure at the widest part above toes. Wrap tape measure around the foot as shown in the picture (see A Joint), make sure that body weight is evenly distributed.

Step 4
Second measure of the foot is instep. Wrapl the tape measure at the second pit of the foot as shown in the picture (see B Instep), make sure that body weight is evenly distributed.

Step 5
Third measure of the foot is heel. Wrap the tape measure above the instep and over the heel as shown in the picture (see C Heel), make sure that body weight is evenly distributed.

Measure the size of an ankle. Wrap the tape measure above anklebone as shown in the picture (see D Ankle around at 5' up).

Step 7
Please note the height at which ankle measurement was taken.

Result
Check if the length of left and right foot is the same. If difference is more than 2 mm, repeat the measurement to make sure that there were no errors. This can happen, but is uncommon. In such case it is necessary to specify which foot is longer (shorter) and what is the length difference. E.g. the right foot is longer by 0.5 mm.

Important! Please send the original size of foot measurements sheet. It's OK if you send a copy or scanned version, but it is unacceptable to take a phone photo or alter original size of measurement sheet in any other way.
